What is an affiliate link? Why use them?
Some links on my blog will take you to another blog or company that is selling an item or looking for traffic. When you go to these links or purchase from the company, I may get a commission on that sale while it costs you nothing. I am running this blog out of passion and love of writing, but I also enjoy making recommendations for products or services I believe in. If I can make a little money on the side recommending products and services I love, it helps defray the costs of keeping this blog up.
What kinds of Affiliate links do I use?
I partner with companies that provide products and services I personally use and believe in. I’d recommend them whether someone paid me to or not. I promise only to recommend things I believe in and know to be helpful.
Who am I affiliated with and why?
Amazon — I find Amazon is the easiest way to recommend products – especially books – as they carry nearly everything.
Earthley – I adore Earthley’s products, plain and simple. They have simple ingredients and a wide variety of items available.
